The City's Special Events are coordinated and staffed by the Recreation & Events Committee. This group of volunteers is dedicated to producing high-quality, family friendly events for the City of Jersey Village. 

These events are:

• Founder's Day
• Holiday in the Village
• Egg Hunt
• Spring Fling
• Ice Cream Social
• Movie Night
• Fall Frolic

Join the Parks and Recreation Department, the Recreation and Events Committee, and Post Elementary for our combined Fall Frolic and Trunk or Treat event!  We will have games, food, entertainment, and fun!!

The activities start at 6:30pm and event ends at 9pm.  

 

December brings shopping, Santa and snow to Jersey Village! This event, held at the Civic Center (16327 Lakeview Dr.), showcases local vendors. Kids young and old will have an opportunity to play in freshly blown snow and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Have something you would like to sell? Sign ups will be posted soon. 

The annual Egg Hunt at Carol Fox Park is traditionally held the Sunday before Easter. Egg "scrambles" are held by age group in this fast and furious grab at eggs filled with prizes and candy.

Join the Recreation & Events Committee for an evening of fun and games for the entire family. Food will be available for purchase at the event which is held under the pavilion at Clark Henry Park.

The parade starts at 9:00 a.m. on July 4th from the Civic Center and will travel down Jersey Dr. to Clark Henry Park. Come out and cheer on the parade or join us for frozen treats at the park afterward. Want to be in the parade? All types of entries are welcome including bands, floats, bicycles, walkers and wagons. Held in summer under the pavilion at Clark Henry Park, the Ice Cream Social is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors for some yummy ice cream and take a dip in the blue waters of the City pool.

Enjoy a dive in movie at the Jersey Village Pool!
