Fire Department Patch
Jersey Village Fire Department is proud to serve the community of Jersey Village, TX. We are located in the Northwest area of Houston. We respond to emergencies related to fire, emergency medical, rescue, and hazardous material incidents. In addition, we have an active fire prevention program which provides public education to area day cares, private and public schools. The Fire Marshal’s office provides plan review and daily fire code inspections to local businesses. Approximately 82% of the calls we respond to are medical related which consists of motor vehicle accidents, chest pains, seizures and sick calls to name a few.

Our fleet consists of three fire trucks, one rescue truck, two ambulances, one EMS first responder vehicle, one command vehicles, two fire inspector trucks, a rescue boat and a high-water rescue vehicle. In addition, we have a classic 1978 fire truck for events and parades. All this equipment is housed in a 17000 square foot station house.

Every year the fire department engages in opportunities to visit with the public. Each year in October, we have an open house at the fire station. Citizens have an opportunity to see the equipment and mingle with our staff.

The department continues to look at advancements in technology and is always looking at the direction the future holds. The safety of the personnel we have responding to emergencies is our first priority. The equipment our fire and EMS personnel have must be the latest and safest equipment available to serve our citizens. The EMS and fire industry is always changing for the betterment of our profession and the protection of those who serve in these professions. Our staffs’ protection is crucial to the protection of our community, so we must stay ahead of the technology curve.

Finally, we would like to thank our city leaders and citizens who support our department on a daily basis. We are always overwhelmed by your support. Please come to the fire station located at 16501 Jersey Drive anytime to visit, or if you have a question, you may contact us at 713-466-2130.
